Here in Bretea Romana

Greetings to all!  We are working on settling into our apt. in the village of Bretea Romana now.  We had a safe and fairly uneventful trip over to Romania, although we wouldn’t have minded if it was a bit shorter.   Thank God for granting us safety while traveling and a very easy time with customs at the airport as well.  There is much to do here in the village, as the apt. is in need of a fair bit of work.  For example until this past Saturday there wasn’t any plumbing in the kitchen, and just about everything needs to be painted (at the least)… not to mention the cleaning.  We are all quite glad that we finally have a place to call out own after 2 summers; now we can actually do something to improve our living conditions. hehe  Just this morning I was able to get mobile internet on my laptop so that we can communicate etc. from the village.  It is not very high speed out here in the countryside, esp. compared to the city, but it should be adequate for most of what we need to do. I can’t even explain how much nicer it is to have it at home instead of planning an entire day around going to the city to send emails.   Thanks to all of you for your prayers and may God bless you all.
