… and cleaning, and painting, and varnishing, and running water lines, and cleaning again…. I guess you could say that our first week or so here in Bretea Romana has been fairly busy (and we haven’t even started our garden yet). It’s been busy here, but it’s the “good” kind of busy. 
We are nearly done with moving things out to the village from the city. We hope to be able to bring the few pieces of large furniture that we have in the city out tomorrow, providing that we can indeed find transportation for them. Other than that we just have another 2 trips (hopefully no more) with the car to get a few odds and ends from storage. It doesn’t seem that we have all that much stuff, especially when compared to the typical American household, but these Romanian apartments do fill up quickly. I guess 700 odd square feet isn’t that big a space (although it’s considered large here). hehe I hope to be able to upload some pics of the apt. soon: I’ll find out just how slow our connection here really is.
