Happy Fourth!

Just a short post to wish you all a Happy Independence Day!  Please take a moment to think of what those words really signify and what occurred so that those of us who were blessed to be born in the USA can enjoy the freedoms that we have.  I’ll be the first to admit that my country is not going in a direction that I am happy about, but despite all of that, it is still the best place to live on earth.  We all need to remember that and be thankful for the blessings that we have. :)

  • The Archers

    Chuck and Barb Archer are farmers from Randolph, New York, and have been ministering in Romania since 1999. They have lived and worked in Romania for nearly 6 of the last 9 years.

    Daniel Archer is the blogmaster and journalist. He spent two years in Romania, and now lives and works in Northern Virginia with his wife Whitney.

    Curtiss Archer has spent 4 years in Romania thus far and his new wife Joanna has spent parts of 2 summers there prior to their marriage. They both are planning to go back on a long term basis in the spring of 2009.

  • A.R.M.S. Project

    One of the main goals for the Archer family in Romania is to purchase property for long-term mission use in the village where the Lord has led them to minister.

    The Archer's Romanian Mission Station Project was set up to help provide for that need. This is a special fund that is separate from their regular monthly support. Donations may be sent to their sending church with a memo for the ARMS Project.
