Mission Statement

Our desire is to glorify God by living in a village community and working amongst the local people while being actively involved within the established church. We purpose to be salt and light by exemplifying God’s grace, mercy and love to the lost souls of Romania, as we endeavor to meet both their spiritual and physical needs.

Expanded Mission Statement

Goals

1) To encourage the Church.

2) To train and equip believers for ministry.

3) To assist with the ministry of the local church body (ie evangelism, discipleship, counseling, children’s and youth ministries, humanitarian aid, etc.).

4) To promote a Christian World Life View by example and by specific instruction.

5) To be a light in the community in which we live by showing the love of Christ through giving of ourselves and our resources to help meet physical as well as spiritual needs (ie working side by side to help accomplish necessary tasks for individuals, as well as the community at large (ie English classes and Computer Education).

6) To work toward improved agricultural, food preservation, health, and medical practices.

7) To establish a mission property on which to live and practice hospitality and ministry and to use for training in various areas.

Board of Advisors
A Board of Advisors has been formed here in the United States to help us with decisions and to give us additional accountability, both in doctrine and in practice.

The Archers

  • The Archers

    Chuck and Barb Archer are farmers from Randolph, New York, and have been ministering in Romania since 1999. They have lived and worked in Romania for nearly 6 of the last 9 years.

    Daniel Archer is the blogmaster and journalist. He spent two years in Romania, and now lives and works in Northern Virginia with his wife Whitney.

    Curtiss Archer has spent 4 years in Romania thus far and plans to serve there longterm. He gave up his construction business in Randolph in the spring of 2007 to concentrate full time on the ministry in Romania.

  • A.R.M.S. Project

    One of the main goals for the Archer family in Romania is to purchase property for long-term mission use in the village where the Lord has led them to minister.

    The Archer's Romanian Mission Station Project was set up to help provide for that need. This is a special fund that is separate from their regular monthly support. Donations may be sent to their sending church with a memo for the ARMS Project.
